Let us remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and pray for their families

This is kind of a pet peeve of mine, is that Memorial day is to honor those who have fallen and Veterans day is to honor those who have served or are currently serving in the US mililtary. Whenever I point out that it seems like people think I don't want to give recognition to the veterans or somethin'...no just trying to focus on what today is for. It originally was to remember the US soldiers who lost their lives in the War Against Southern Independance, then extended to all wars after. I thank veterans throughout the year (I met an active duty Navy MAA just fresh from Afghanistan attached to an EOD unit and went diving with him two days later, and thanked him more than once). Let us join them in honoring their comrades in arms who are now Serving in God's Army in heaven with the Angels.
